'This is the end!' I thought as I saw that golden light covering my eyesight. The demonic energy inside my body got unstable.

I was reminiscing over my choices as every memory flashed before me. The battle inside the forest had taken too many unexpected turns that made me feel dizzy.

First, I saw Thomas, Lisa's brother who came running like a dog the moment he saw Lisa's face.

However, the current Lisa was outraged and because of some skill that Barbara used, she was influenced to kill Thomas. Everything started falling from that point onwards.

The fight between Black Lotus and my Legion was at its end when that Barbara did something unexpected.

Everyone here was armed. There were multiple bruises on their body.

The man called Anthony looked gravely injured but still, there was a glint in his eyes.

'How is he even moving?!' I screamed inside my head. How can a man be so… brave?

His muscles were torn and there was a deep cut on his pod. He had shattered leather armor, a broken sword, and a small dagger; his attire was that of a soldier.

"Tsk. So you are finally awake?" The archer woman pointed her arrow toward me and asked with hostility.

"I-I Kree!" I was about to answer her when my words turned into a lower demon's sound.

"Emily, just kill him, he is useless now," Anthony said as he pulled out his broken sword. His eyes were locked on me.

'No! Don't kill me!' I wanted to shout, but "Kreeee!" Was the only word that came out of my throat.

"I am sorry, but we need to do this. If only you were a little less arrogant, X@sh#." Emily said and with a swift movement, she shot an arrow into my chest.

"KREEEEE!" I cried in pain as my blood oozed out of my body.

"Thanks for the sword, you never deserved it though." A man said as he took the sword from my dying body. His eyes were filled with envy as he looked at me.

"Maybe in the next life, you'll remain the person I loved, Logan," Emily said as tears rolled down her cheeks.

Before my eyes closed, I saw a man called Anthony come close to Emily and hold her.

"Let's go… The demons must've left by now, we need to loot the village." Anthony said while tightening his grip on Emily. Greed was clear in his eyes.

Everyone around me looked at me with… disappointment? Disgust?

I am so confused…
