Using higher voltage, higher current, and faster charging of the battery in a shorter time can effectively reduce the charging time of the battery.
However, there are still very big problems in the construction of such a fast charging station.
The first site cost, buying and building a charging station is a big expense.
Just like gas stations, charging stations often need to be built in large numbers in cities, and the locations should not be too remote, otherwise it is unrealistic to run for tens of kilometers with a single charge, and directly discourage consumers who want to buy a car.
Small cities are okay, but land prices in big cities are not cheap. Even if you use a parking lot or the like, you need to pay a very large sum of money.

If the current time node is 2023, Kyushu Automobile will naturally adopt the charging protocol that most car companies are using, and adopt fast charging technology.
But the time now is 2010, and charging piles have not become popular at this time point.

The advantage of charging technology is that a charging station can charge many brands of vehicles, unlike changing a power station, often a certain brand is used alone.
This advantage does not mean anything to Kyushu Automobile today. Now and in the future, only electric vehicles such as Kyushu Automobile will be sold in the market.
Compared with battery replacement, car companies do not need to invest more capital costs to purchase batteries for charging to ensure users' use.
This point is not very meaningful to Kyushu Automobile. The cost of batteries produced by itself is lower than those purchased by those car companies.
The disadvantage of the charging station is that the charging time is too long. Even if the fast charging technology develops, it will be difficult to achieve the fast charging technology within ten minutes for a long time in the future.
At the same time, the charging time is not fixed and there is no plan. There may be many cars charging at the same time, or there may be only one or two cars charging in the large charging station.
In any case, it is necessary to consider the power pressure when all the parking spaces are full of cars for fast charging, and the construction of the circuit network must be more solid.
Battery swap technology, the battery is charged in the swap station, which can control the charging and discharging power at the same time, and use the night valley power to charge.
The cost of circuit construction can also be reduced a lot, and there is no need to continuously improve the power transmission capacity of the overall circuit network of the charging station.
Even the battery in the replacement station does not necessarily need to be charged in the replacement station.
It can be directly built next to the main circuit network on the outskirts of the city, saving a lot of land costs.
You only need to transport the charged electricity to various battery swapping stations in the city through trucks and vehicles, and then charge the batteries replaced in the swapping stations.
The batteries in the charging station can even be used as energy storage, charging during off-peak hours, and discharging during peak hours to supplement the power grid. There will also be a certain amount of government subsidies.
