#111 - Avengers Tower Attack
"Bang!"
The deafening sound rang out, catching everyone off guard.
Steve, Thor, and Diamondhead got up and walked out of the conference room to see what had happened.
"Jarvis," Tony chose to contact his intelligent butler immediately, but to everyone's surprise, the intelligent butler, who was always on call, did not respond for the first time.
"Jarvis?" Tony frowned, and a feeling of unease welled up in his heart, but there was still no response.
Now everyone in the conference room realized something was wrong.
As soon as Steve and the other two came out of the conference room, they found many people gathered near the elevator. Steve stepped forward and grabbed a person to ask.
"What happened here?"
"The elevator lost control and fell down," the person who was stopped answered.
"Elevator malfunction? Is anyone inside? How are they?" Captain asked quickly.
"It seems like there are people, but the specific situation is not very clear. I will go and confirm now."
The staff immediately took out communication equipment and began to inquire, and soon got the result.
"Confirmed, Captain, there were three people in the elevator when it fell, all of them fainted, with some abrasions on their bodies, but no life-threatening injuries."
"It seems that the floor was not high when it fell. Which three people are they?" Steve couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief when he heard that everyone was okay.
"Of course, these minor injuries, probably from the second floor?" Thor looked like it was a matter of course, after all, earthlings are very weak.
"Agent Melinda and the reserve team members who just came to report today, they have been sent to the medical room." The staff hesitated and said.
"Captain, they were on the sixth floor when they fell."
"What?" Steve, including Thor on the side, was surprised. Normal earthlings wouldn't just have abrasions at this height.
However, before they could be surprised, the communicator on Steve's body rang at this time.
"Something happened, Captain." As soon as the captain answered, Natasha's voice came from the communicator.
"What happened, Natasha?" Captain asked.
"Jarvis is out of contact. Tony just checked and found that his armors are out of control. Now they are flying down from the roof!"
"What?"
Before Steve could ask further, the ceiling above his head suddenly burst open. Steve subconsciously threw himself on the staff member in front of him, protecting him under his body, but found that no rubble and attacks fell on him.
Looking back, it was indeed Thor and Diamondhead who blocked the splashing rubble and the attackers for him.
Steve's eyes widened. He was very familiar with the attackers. It was Tony's armor. There was more than one. In the ceiling that was blown open, at the end of the corridor, and even outside the window, there were several flying.
"What the hell is Stark doing!" Thor swung his hammer and threw it at the armor at the end of the corridor, smashing it to pieces.
"Don't jump to conclusions, Thor, this matter may not be related to Tony." Steve got up from the ground and thought about countermeasures.
"We can help, Captain, we are S.H.I.E.L.D. agents." The staff followed closely and got up.
"OK! You contact all the agents in the building now and evacuate the ordinary people as soon as possible. Remember not to conflict with the armors head-on." Steve ordered.
Inside the Avengers Tower are not only Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, but also elites from all walks of life who have been recruited. They are ordinary people without combat effectiveness and must ensure their safety first.
"Received! Captain!" The agents took out their hidden weapons and left in an orderly manner to complete the mission given by Steve.
However, the armors obviously would not let the agents leave. Although the ones in the corridor were held back by Thor and Diamondhead, no one restricted the ones flying outside the window.
The three armors flying outside the window raised their hands one after another, and the shock beams in their palms began to charge. Steve saw it in his eyes and was anxious in his heart. He had no weapons at hand at this time, and he didn't even wear a uniform, so he couldn't stop the armors outside the window at all.
"Be careful!" Steve could only remind loudly.
Six palm beams shot out at the same time, but were blocked by a pale green crystal wall.
"Here, Captain." Steve heard the sound and turned around, and found a pale green thing attacking him, and subconsciously took it in his hand.
Steve looked and found that it was a round shield made of pale green crystal, with a smooth surface, crystal clear, and looked like a work of art.
"I made it according to Grey Matter's description." Diamondhead used his arm-turned hammer to knock down an armor.
"It may not be as good as the original, but let's make do with it for now."
"No." Steve threw the shield out, knocking down an armor flying outside the window, and the shield bounced back into his hand.
"The feel is just right!"

"Tony! What did you do again!" Fury shouted at Tony beside him, hiding behind the conference table.

"Don't shout so loudly." Tony also replied loudly to Fury.
"I don't know what's going on!"
"Why did you make so many armors!" Fury's face was even darker.
"Just in case!" Tony always has a reason.
"Things are getting interesting." Four Arms ignored the attacks of the armors, pulled out four pistols, and began to shoot at the armors.
After shooting for a while, Four Arms found that his hit rate was not very high, so he turned his head and threw the magazines and pistols on his body to Natasha and Hawkeye, who were hiding behind him.
"Here you go."
After saying this, he picked up the big sword behind him and rushed towards the armor.
It was said to be slashing, but Four Arms was more like waving it, without any rules, just like playing baseball, the armors were all beaten to pieces by him.
Natasha and Hawkeye, who finally got weapons, were not to be outdone. Although Four Arms' pistols were too big for them, they could still control one with two hands.
With a bang, an armor was knocked down, and Natasha showed a comforting smile.
"I wanted to do this for a long time." Natasha smiled like a child, as if what she shot was not an armor shell, but someone real inside.
As for who is inside, it is up to you to guess.
"Me too." Hawkeye also knocked down an armor.
"This is the most comfortable moment for me in the past few months."
Not to mention the three who showed great power, Tony, Fury, Poppup and Grey Matter were hiding behind the special conference table, avoiding the attacks.
"Speaking of which, aren't you going to help?" Fury looked at the alien duo who were also hiding.
"I want to protect you here." Grey Matter replied, although Fury and Tony didn't believe it.
"What about you?" Tony looked at Poppup. He didn't expect that Poppup, a strong man with such a large physique, would also hide.
"I can't easily take action." Poppup replied simply.
"If I take action, everyone in this building will die."
