#265 - Giving birth to life to atone for sins

The scene before them was so shocking that even Thor, who had been unstoppable since becoming worthy again, halted in his tracks. It wasn't until Hyperion bumped into him from behind that Thor snapped out of his daze.

"What's going on?" Hyperion asked, puzzled. Blinded, he didn't know what had happened.

However, his other senses received no visual input. He could hear, and the once-noisy space had suddenly become quiet, so quiet that he could only hear his and Thor's breathing.

"I really don't know how to describe it to you, brother," Thor said after a long pause.

"Then let him see for himself."

A peculiar voice echoed, as if multiple people were speaking simultaneously, yet it wasn't chaotic, and the words were exceptionally clear, as if directly imprinted into their minds.

The voice was unfamiliar, but Thor instinctively located its source: the profound and sacred figure. The person had turned to face him and Hyperion, their pure white eyes fixed upon them.

"What do you mean?" Thor frowned slightly. Although the person had just annihilated countless Beyonders, Thor wasn't afraid. Instead, he engaged in conversation.

However, before Thor could clarify, Hyperion behind him exclaimed in shock.

"My eyes?"

Thor turned back, astonished to see that Hyperion's previously bloody and blurred eye sockets, filled with nothing but minced meat, were now full again. His eyelids opened, revealing a perfectly intact eyeball in its socket.

"Your eyes are healed? When?" Thor asked in disbelief.

"I don't know," Hyperion said, scanning his surroundings. "When I came to my senses, it was already like this. Thor, your left hand!"

"My left hand?" Thor subconsciously looked at his severed hand, only to see a complete arm.

Thor stared at the left hand that had grown back without him noticing, gently flexing his fingers. If he hadn't still felt the intense pain from before, he would have thought the severed hand was just a hallucination.

"Do you like it?" Yang Le, now X-Man, had appeared beside them unnoticed. "It should be the same as before."

"Who are you?" Hyperion assumed a battle stance, but Thor stopped him.

"Easy, brother," Thor said, using his newly regrown left hand to restrain Hyperion. "He's the one who healed our injuries and eliminated a group of Beyonders."

"Eliminated them?" X-Man shook his head. "I merely transformed them into one of the countless planets in this universe. Since they wanted to destroy the multiverse and treat life as a toy, let them atone by nurturing and bearing life."

As X-Man spoke, he raised his right hand, revealing a blue sphere the size of a handball floating above it. With Thor's knowledge, it was easy to see that it was a real planet.

"It looks like Midgard (Earth) from a long time ago," Thor remarked, recalling how beautiful Earth once was, like the planet in X-Man's hand.

"This planet is now like Earth in its ancient days," X-Man said, pushing the planet out. It moved slowly forward at a speed visible to the naked eye, gradually disappearing from their sight.

"When it reaches a suitable place, it will stop and slowly thrive," X-Man said slowly.

Thor and Hyperion were speechless. Everything before them was beyond their comprehension. Especially Thor, who had witnessed the entire process with his restored vision. They needed half their comrades to deal with just one Beyonder, yet X-Man had resolved tens of thousands of Beyonders with just a glance, and even transformed them into a planet.

"Just who are you?" Thor asked. Although this person had helped them greatly, it didn't help them discern whether he was friend or foe.

"You can call me X-Man," X-Man said, spreading his hands. "I am a member of the Celestial Gods from the Outer Heavens, the primordial land outside of all multiverses."

"Celestial Gods of the Outer Heavens?" Hyperion murmured. Frankly, because of the Beyonders, he was now experiencing some PTSD with any kind of god.

However, Hyperion had forgotten that his close comrade Thor was also a god, from the Asgardian Aesir.

"Don't worry," X-Man saw through Hyperion's thoughts. "Our Celestial Gods of the Outer Heavens advocate neutrality and do not overly participate in the affairs of other multiverses. If it weren't for the Beyonders' atrocities this time, you might never have known of our existence."

That's right, after Yang Le and Mamen's persuasion, Oz finally agreed to Yang Le's proposal, namely 《Stop the Beyonders》.

The full title is 《Stop the Atrocities of the Beyonders, Eliminate by Force When Necessary, Restore the Multiverse》. This proposal is now fully led by Yang Le, and unless necessary, the other two consciousnesses will follow Yang Le's lead.

It can be said responsibly that even facing the God of War, Yang Le can defeat him. The current Yang Le does not have the possibility of consciousness disputes, and is the apex of a group of Celestial Gods of the Outer Heavens (temporarily).

"Does this mean we have one more powerful ally?" Thor asked with a cheerful smile. "I've been exhausted by those secretive rats. Now I finally see the hope of fighting back."

"Someone else is coming," Hyperion suddenly reminded. Actually, without him saying so, X-Man had already sensed the uninvited guests. It shouldn't be said that he knew someone would come from the beginning, but he just didn't care.

Three figures slowly emerged from the opened spatial rift. Passing through the pure white light curtain, three creatures of similar stature, clad in silver-white armor, appeared before them.

"More Beyonders," Thor said, looking at the three figures with disgust.

"These ones seem very different from the previous ones," Hyperion said with a solemn expression. He noticed that these three newly appeared Beyonders actually possessed flesh-like skin, completely different from the previous Beyonders made entirely of silver-white metal.

"They are the Ivory Kings," Yang Le introduced. "They are the apex of the Beyonders, like you are to the Aesir."

"Then does that mean they are stronger than the previous Beyonders?" Thor gripped his battle-axe tightly, but he was still fearless.

"To you, yes," X-Man said with neither joy nor sorrow. "To me, there's not much difference."

X-Man didn't continue speaking. Temporarily refraining from using his omniscient ability, he wanted to see what these Ivory Kings could stir up.

"Unknown god," one of the Ivory Kings said. "Do not interfere with the Beyonders' great experiment, or you will not want to know what terrible misfortune you will receive."
