#266 - X-Man Reboots Marvel Universe
Indeed, X-Superman didn't even need to use his omniscience to guess what the Beyonders would say; arrogance was practically their synonym.
"Treating stolen power as your own," X-Superman said slowly. "You are nothing but a bunch of pompous clowns."
"What?" The Ivory Kings' expressions changed drastically. "How do you know?"
"Stop wasting words with him," another Ivory King said through gritted teeth. "He knows our secret; we must kill him."
From beginning to end, the Beyonders didn't even mention Thor and the other beside X-Superman. In their eyes, only X-Superman was worth their attention. As for Thor and the others, their level was simply too low. In the Ivory Kings' view, they were no different from dust.
To put it bluntly, even the aftermath of the battle would probably kill them.
An Ivory King's eyes flashed, and the next second, he had already appeared behind X-Superman. Since they had decided to fight, they had to end the battle as quickly as possible, even if it meant resorting to a sneak attack.
However, just as he finished teleporting, he found himself still facing Yang Le, because Yang Le had known what he was going to do before he teleported. He turned around in advance and saw the scene of him teleporting over.
The Ivory King gritted his teeth and, without hesitation, shot the energy he had condensed in his hand towards X-Superman.
X-Superman simply raised his right hand and drew a counter-clockwise circle in the air. Then, that astonishing energy stream went back at an even faster speed, returning to the Ivory King's hand. Then, it was the Ivory King's turn. He was like he had been pressed the rewind button, and teleported back to his companions.
However, the Ivory King who had been rewound didn't notice this scene himself. His eyes flashed again, and he was about to activate his teleportation ability again, but he was stopped by his companion beside him.
"What's wrong?" the Ivory King asked, puzzled.
"You were just rewound in time by him," his companion explained with a solemn expression.
"That's impossible," the Ivory King shouted in disbelief. "How can time affect us?"
His companion didn't say a word. If he hadn't seen it with his own eyes, he wouldn't have believed that the immortal Beyonders could be affected by mere time.
"Nothing is impossible," X-Superman said. "This isn't any special power or skill, it's just because I'm the one using this power. Just like I didn't tell you, you wouldn't know that this scene has actually been repeated five times. If it wasn't because I was bored and didn't use time rewind on everyone again, I really wanted to see how many times you could find something wrong."
"I don't believe it!" The Ivory King's face was twisted. After obtaining the Creator's power, they had always been the ones playing with others. When had it ever been their turn to be toyed with?
"Foolish," X-Superman shook his head. He raised his right hand, which he had not put down, a little higher. "I really didn't expect you to be so dull. I guess if I didn't tell you, you wouldn't realize that you've always been in my hands, right?"
The Ivory King was furious. He was just about to rebuke X-Superman's arrogance when he subconsciously glanced at Yang Le's palm. Just that one glance made him freeze in place.
On X-Superman's palm were three sesame-sized black dots. With the Ivory King's eyesight, he could easily see the true appearance of those three 'sesame seeds'. Those three sesame seeds were… them?
The Ivory King's expression changed drastically. He slowly turned his head and raised his eyesight to the limit. He saw X-Superman's face. All of this was not an illusion. They had been in someone else's hands (in the physical sense) from beginning to end.
"Wai… wait a minute," the Ivory King finally knew fear. To be able to play them in the palm of their hand, no matter how many Ivory Kings there were, it wouldn't be enough in front of him. This level of existence couldn't be solved by quantity.
"We have a mission that must be completed; you have to let us go," the Ivory King begged for mercy.
Faced with these gods who had made a complete spectacle of themselves, Yang Le simply squeezed his right hand and said, "I'm bored."
As Yang Le's right hand closed, the three Beyonders disappeared without a trace. Even Thor and Hyperion knew that they couldn't escape, but they didn't know what X-Superman had done with them.
X-Superman turned his gaze to the opened spatial rift. Under his gaze, the rift slowly closed, and the space returned to darkness.
"What happened to them?" Thor asked curiously.
"The same as their previous companions," X-Superman replied. "From now on, there will be no more Beyonders in the multiverse, but there will be more than a dozen planets pregnant with new life."
"Sounds good," Hyperion said with a smile. "Birth is always more pleasing than death, but it's a pity that our friends can't see this scene."
Thor was speechless. They had walked on thin ice all the way, and many people had fallen halfway. Now, only he and Hyperion were left. Thinking of this, the joy in Thor's heart was diluted a lot.
"At least it's all over," Thor comforted, not knowing whether he was speaking to Hyperion or to himself.
"No, it's not over yet," X-Superman said as he raised his hands. Although the culprit, the Beyonders, had been executed, he still had a lot of things to do, such as repairing this broken multiverse.
Thor and Hyperion didn't understand the meaning of X-Superman's words, and they disappeared. At the same time, it wasn't just them who disappeared, but also the tree composed of the Abyss and the Lords of Nothingness.
That's right, X-Superman wanted to restore everything, and naturally, he couldn't do without those lives who died because of the Beyonders. Amazing power burst out from X-Superman, one, two, three, countless colorful spheres floated out from all parts of his body.
Those were the multiverses destroyed by the Beyonders. X-Superman put them back in their original positions. After all, X-Superman also restored and strengthened the timeline to prevent it from being messed up again by the X-Men with the same surname as him.
Not only that, Yang Le also quietly used X-Superman's ability to give himself a benefit, but this could not be hidden from Oz and Mammon, but they did not say much.
X-Superman also took away most of the heroes' memories of this Secret Wars, and also restored the time to before the Secret Wars. After all, too many ugly things happened during this period. In order to prevent the once destroyed universes from causing any trouble, Yang Le felt that the Secret Wars should always be a secret.
