#694 - Hela and Fenrir
The man called Tyr turned back and only saw a woman he couldn't refuse.
It was a woman wearing a helmet with intricate branches like antlers. The helmet was also connected to a large green cloak, but even with the dark green tight-fitting soft armor the woman was wearing, it probably wouldn't provide any warmth in this icy and snowy place.
"You jest, my Queen," Tyr turned around and knelt on one knee cleanly and crisply in front of the woman.
"Since coming toHelheim, I no longer dream."
"You know that's not what I meant, Tyr." The woman, like a ghost, had already arrived in front of the man at some point, and stretched out her slender hand to stroke the top of his head.
Tyr lowered his head, but a drop of cold sweat remained on his forehead. The woman was clearly only gently stroking him, but he felt as if his scalp was about to be torn off.
"What's wrong, Tyr?" The woman leaned down and whispered beside Tyr. "Don't you like my caress?"
"This subordinate may not be worthy of it." Tyr's beard trembled as he tried to stop his teeth from chattering due to the pain.
Seeing this, the woman released her hand. A slight tap on Tyr was enough. She still had a use for him and couldn't play him to death just yet.
"Since you're not dreaming, then you must be homesick." The woman pulled out a handkerchief from nowhere, wiped her hands, and casually threw it aside. Before the handkerchief hit the ground, it turned to ashes and disappeared into the thick fog where you couldn't see your fingers.
This isNiflheim, the Fog Kingdom, second only toHelheim in the Nine Realms.Jotunheim can only be said to be a world of ice and snow, but there are still creatures living there. ButNiflheim andHelheim are truly places where there are no living things.
And these two places are now all under the control of one person... or rather, a god, the woman who makes Tyr bow down and submit.
"Hela, Your Ladyship."
Hearing someone call her name, the woman calledHela turned her head and saw a tall werewolf standing not far away. Perhaps because he had fur, the werewolf only wore a skirt armor and half a breastplate.
"What is it,Fenrir?"
After hearingHela call his name, the werewolf lowered his head before slowly opening his mouth to speak.
"I feel a familiar sensation, that feeling comes from Asgard."
"A familiar sensation?"Hela's curiosity was also piqued. "What familiar sensation? Tell me in detail,Fenrir."
"In fact, I have had this feeling before. My Queen, I once personally dragged the guy who gave me this feeling intoHelheim."
After listening toFenrir's words,Hela immediately understood what he meant, and immediately turned her head to look at Tyr, who was kneeling behind her. He was the unlucky guy who was dragged into hell byFenrir himself. (Note 1)
After hearing the conversation between the two, Tyr felt a slight pain in his left arm, which should have stopped hurting long ago. It had clearly been thousands of years, and as a member of the undead, he should no longer feel pain.
Now, the only one who can inflict pain on him isHela, the Queen ofHelheim. This heart-wrenching pain is just a phantom pain.
"You're saying Asgard has welcomed another God of War."Hela walked to Tyr's side. "No wonder you ran toNiflheim alone. I thought it was to avoid me?"
Hela now understood why Tyr had to run toNiflheim. On the World Tree, the existing Nine Realms are indeed arranged in high and low positions, such asHelheim andNiflheim, which are located at the bottom of the World Tree.
However, there is still a slight distinction between these two worlds.Niflheim, as the Fog Kingdom, is still a little higher thanHelheim, which is the Underworld, that is to say,Niflheim is closer to Asgard.
And Tyr, who was originally the God of War of Asgard, although there is no connection between them, Tyr, as the former God of War, can still sense a little bit of the change in the God of War's divine status.
The earliest was not long ago, although Tyr didn't know how many days it was because he stayed inHelheim, but the time was definitely not long.
At first, Tyr thought he was crazy. After all, he had stayed inHelheim for so long, and this land of the dead was eroding his soul all the time.
But after a period of time, Tyr once again sensed the abnormality of the God of War's divine status, and this feeling became more and more frequent, which confirmed to Tyr that this feeling was not false.
Asgard has welcomed a new God of War. For Tyr, the former God of War, this may not be something worth celebrating. After all, who would think of the old when there is a new one?
Being fond of the new and tired of the old is not unique toMidgardians. The people of Asgard will also be happy because of new weapons, and what the dead are most worried about is being forgotten.
But Tyr felt happy, because long ago the Queen he now serves had begun to plan an invasion of Asgard, and Tyr played a relatively important role in her plan.
But now Asgard has welcomed a new God of War, which means thatHela's plan has been affected, and it also means that Asgard's power has become stronger. How can Tyr, who always cares about Asgard, not be happy?

If it weren't because he was undead and couldn't resistHela, the Queen of the Underworld, how could Tyr kneel before the enemy in front of him, the biggest hidden danger of Asgard?
Tyr decided to hide this secret in his heart, and only today did he dare to come toNiflheim to confirm whenHela went to discuss with her allies, after all, today the reaction of the God of War's divine status was so obvious that he felt it even inHelheim.
But what Tyr didn't expect was thatFenrir could also feel it. He didn't react at all a few times ago. Why did he sense it today?
'That's right!' Tyr suddenly realized that today the reaction of the divine status was exceptionally strong, soFenrir, who had devoured his flesh and blood, should also be able to feel the weak reaction. He had forgotten about this.
Perhaps it was thatHelheim had eroded him too severely. Tyr didn't remember this detail until now. It was this little flaw that exposed the information he didn't wantHela to know.
"Even you inHelheim can feel this power. As the former God of War, there is no reason why Tyr can't sense it. It seems that my general likes to hide some little secrets in his heart ~"
Hela deliberately spoke in a very ambiguous tone, but Tyr, who was kneeling on the ground, only felt a bone-chilling cold wind. He was not afraid ofHela's punishment, he was just worried thatHela would modify her plan against Asgard.
My wrist hurts too much today, so I will only update one chapter, sorry.
Note 1: Tyr is indeed dead, but I forgot how he died, so I combined the story of him being bitten off his hand in Norse mythology and attributed the credit for killing him toFenrir. I know that Tyr died together with the hellhoundGarm, but the hellhound and the giant wolf are similar. There are too many homogenized characters, which is not interesting. I merged the two canines into one. Anyway, this universe is self-edited, and it is normal to have differences from the main universe (laughs).
