#695 - Council of Kings (1)
Just as Tyr was contemplating how to remain silent under Hela's torment with the Hand of Glory, Hela instead ignored Tyr, who was kneeling on the ground, and straightened up to leave.
Tyr was caught off guard by Hela's sudden change. He knew that Hela possessed a ruthlessness that matched her beauty, and such a person would never allow anyone to betray her.
"Truly an ungrateful wretch," Hela whispered her evaluation, then slowly walked towards the real wolf.
"Although I would love to hear your screams right now, unfortunately, my schedule is very tight today."
Tyr knew that today was the day Hela and her accomplices gathered, and even someone as noble as her would not provoke so many people at once under normal circumstances.
There is a saying that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Hela clearly knew that the alliance she had joined was only connected by the same goal. This connection was both strong and fragile.
What's more, the group of people she was allied with were not to be trifled with. In order for her plan to be executed smoothly, Hela could not afford to break ties with them, at least for the time being.
Hela patted Fenrir's head, and the latter understood, transforming into a giant wolf tens of meters tall. Hela, standing at his feet, then transformed into a green raven and flew onto Fenrir's back.
After landing on Fenrir's back, Hela transformed back into her human form. Once his master was seated, Fenrir howled and disappeared into Niflheim like a shadow.
Before Tyr could get up, Hela's voice, who had clearly left long ago, rang in his ears.
"I hope to see you in Helheim when I return."
Tyr was silent for a moment, then said, "Yes, Queen."
Because she wasted some time on Tyr, it was now almost time for the agreed meeting, but Hela was not flustered at all. After all, Fenrir's speed was very fast. See, they had arrived.
Fenrir's running speed was not actually that fast, but his magic could make up for it. With a few flashes, he arrived at the agreed location.
The agreed location was set in Niflheim. The perpetual mist of the Land of Mist had a good concealing effect. Even Odin, the King of the Gods, would have to put in some effort to investigate here.
Therefore, even if the other accomplices were unwilling, they had to set the meeting place within Hela's territory. This was indeed the safest place.
"Boom!"
The giant wolf descended from the sky and landed on an open space, shaking the snow or ashes beneath its feet into the sky, which slowly fell after a long while.
"What?" Hela looked at the empty agreed location. "Am I the first one?"
"Then you may be disappointed, Queen of Hel."
A male voice suddenly sounded in the empty flat ground. The voice sounded elegant and magnetic. Just from the voice, one could tell that the owner of the voice was definitely an arrogant person.
Sure enough, a figure suddenly walked out of the mist. A slender body emerged from the mist. It was a man with handsome features. His white hair was like snowflakes all over the sky. Judging by appearance alone, his age was definitely no more than thirty years old.
The most amazing thing was the man's face. That face was actually composed of two colors. The left side was an unsettling black, and the right side was a dazzling blue. Under this strange composition, the man's handsome face also appeared strange.
"After so many years, you still can't change this affected way of speaking, Malekith."
Hela slid off Fenrir and waved her hand behind her without looking back. The giant wolf understood and turned around, leaving without any reluctance.
"I would prefer you call it elegance," Malekith bowed slightly, giving Hela a salute. Although the etiquette was very proper and standard, there was no respect in his eyes at all.
Hela was not annoyed. She had a clear understanding of the Dark Elf King in front of her. This person was a madman, a beast装in a shell of etiquette. It was not worth getting angry with such a person.
Unless you can kill him with one blow, never easily break ties with him, otherwise even Hela would have to be wary of his revenge. But coincidentally, the accomplices she was meeting today were all such characters.
"Rumble!"
While Hela and Malekith were talking, a sudden earth-shattering tremor stopped the two from continuing their conversation. The two turned their attention to the source of the tremor.
A previously unnoticed high mountain moved. Only after the snow on it was shaken off did the original face of this 'mountain' reveal itself. It was a giant with ice-blue skin.
Long fangs grew out of the giant's mouth, and armor with a dark luster covered most of the giant's body. Beside him stood a single-edged axe as large as a mountain.

Only when the snow had completely fallen and the mist had dissipated could one see that the giant was sitting on the ground, but even when he was sitting on the ground, he could still be on par with the surrounding mountains, which shows how terrifying his height would be when the giant stood up.
"Let's skip these useless pleasantries," the giant's voice was like a booming bell. "If that one-eyed old man Odin finds out, our plan will be bankrupt before it's even born."
"I didn't expect that the failure thousands of years ago would make you so afraid of Odin now. Is this still the invincible Giant King?"
A fiery voice like burning flames had not yet landed when a gate made entirely of fire brazenly opened next to Hela and Malekith, and then a tall figure walked out of it.
The newcomer was like a pile of burning flames, with two huge horns on his head, and his whole body was wrapped in crimson red. Only key parts were covered with rock-like material. When she landed, the surrounding snow inevitably melted at a high speed. This was still the result of the owner of the flame restraining her temperature.
If she completely let go, at least a hundred miles around would turn into a sea of fire, but even she, who was as fiery as fire, knew that she could not create such a big winter scene at this time. A little bit of irrational change in the Nine Realms would attract Odin's attention.
"Take back your questioning, daughter of Surtur!" The giant glared. "Otherwise, Laufey will let you know how to write respect!"
"I'm so scared," the flame chuckled. "Before talking big, why not try getting close to me first, if you can do it? Why are you so afraid of turning from a giant into a dwarf? My Giant King?"
Laufey did not reply, but instead cleanly raised his axe and chopped it down at the flame.
