#806 - More people join the battle

As the saying goes, even a clay figure has some anger, let alone a person?

If pushed to the brink, even a dog will jump over the wall, let alone those superhumans with superpowers?

A cowardly person might choose to remain silent when there is a way out, but when you leave them with no way to survive, most will choose to explode.

When the majority explodes, the remaining minority will also be willing to contribute their strength due to the bandwagon effect.

There is strength in numbers, which has always referred not to the superficial power but to the connection between people. The more people, the braver they become.

The superhumans on Earth are countless, and at this critical moment of Earth's life and death, they have begun to stand up like the X-Men.

Perhaps some of them are just for self-preservation, and some are just driven mad, but at this moment, they are the heroes of this planet.

Just like this group of people.

"I still don't think we should interfere in the disputes of outsiders."

The speaker was a man with an unusually strong body but with cow hooves for his lower body. He was discussing with a man next to him who was covered in green scales and had many fish-like features.

"Since the day Attilan was established, it has never interfered in outside affairs. Moreover, this time, the King is leading the expedition himself. I still think we should be more cautious and send a guard of honor along with him."

"His Majesty naturally has his own considerations," the fish-man said muffledly, probably due to the mask on his mouth.

"Our role is to help him accomplish his ideas, and besides…"

"Besides, the flames of war are about to spread to Attilan."

An elegant female voice interrupted the conversation between the two. They turned around and saw a beautiful woman with a graceful figure and long red hair.

The woman had a high status. As soon as she appeared, the two saluted her.

"Queen."

"Your concerns represent your loyalty, Gorgon, which is good," the woman nodded, but then changed the subject. "However, you should be more aware of the King's power. There are very few people on this planet who can pose a threat to the King."

Gorgon didn't speak, but lowered his head, indicating his admission of error.

The woman looked at the fish-man next to her and said, "Triton obviously sees deeper things and sees what His Majesty is worried about."

"What is facing danger now is the entire Earth. This group of people from another world suddenly appeared on Earth, treating this place as a battlefield, burning, killing, and looting. Admittedly, Attilan can choose to stand by at this time and move to another planet, but by then, Attilan will really be fighting alone."

"Your Majesty means, let us cooperate with humans?" Gorgon asked, but was met with the woman's摇头(shaking head).

"It's good to enjoy the shade under a big tree," the woman said softly. "When there is the huge target of humanity, how many people will notice the Inhumans? But when humanity is extinct, the Inhumans will turn from a star into the moon, and no matter how much they hide, there will be a day when they are exposed."

"I see," Gorgon suddenly understood. "I understand, Queen."

The Queen nodded, very satisfied with Gorgon's reaction. Just then, a male voice sounded in her head.

‘I should set off, Medusa.’

Medusa turned around and saw a strong man in a black tights. The man's tights were evenly distributed with lightning-shaped white stripes, and a tuning fork was embedded on the top of his head.

"My King," Medusa walked to the man's side in two or three steps, and they embraced each other affectionately, but separated quickly.

They both knew that now was not the time for romance, especially since the man called the King had more important things to do.

"Be careful in everything, my King," Medusa gently kissed the man's lips.

‘You too,’ the man nodded. ‘Don't worry, especially since Lockjaw is here.’

Medusa then noticed the big dog behind the man. It was a giant canine creature almost as tall as a person, resembling an ordinary bulldog in appearance, with a tuning fork embedded in its head that was exactly the same as the man's.

"I'm counting on you, Lockjaw," Medusa was very respectful to the big dog in front of her, and gave all the courtesy that should be given.

"Woof!" Lockjaw nodded, apparently understanding what the woman was saying, and it seemed that its intelligence was not low.

"My King, Queen," a man with a head several inches larger than ordinary people opened the door and walked in. "We have arrived at the designated location and can start the operation."

"Thank you for your hard work, Karnak," Medusa said after exchanging a glance with the man. "Please continue to stand by in the sky until the King's triumphant return."

"It is my honor," Karnak saluted. When he raised his head, the four people and a dog were already standing together. The next second, everyone except him disappeared from the room.

Malkith felt that he had been very lucky recently. Since he agreed to Hela's request thousands of years ago and boarded this big ship, his life had become better.

Especially recently, he not only brought the country of the Light Elves, Alfheim, into his territory, but also found many interesting things in the Light Elves' collection of books.

For example, Loki is actually Laufey's child. Of course, this is just an appetizer. In that sea of collections, he accidentally discovered several disharmonious places.

Leaving aside the others, first of all, there are many different records about Asgard. These records contradict each other, but Malkith didn't find anything abnormal when he first saw them.

It was the Queen of Light Elves, whose mind he had controlled, who told him this. At first, Malkith thought that he had used too much force, causing the Elf Queen's brain to burn out, but later he did find something wrong.

He used a little magic and borrowed the perspective of the Elf Queen to read the books again and finally discovered the disharmonious places that normal people would never care about.

Realizing this, he once again ordered people to bring the myths and legends of the other realms from Midgard, and finally knew what was abnormal.

Those Nordic mythology stories that they originally regarded as jokes were actually recorded in the Light Elves' collection of books, and the details were similar.

Why is this? Why did the Light Elves record these things that are no different from unofficial history, and also use magic to cover them up, as if they didn't want normal people to discover them.

After thinking for a long time, a bold idea appeared in Malkith's mind.

What if all of this is not unofficial history, but something that really happened? What if there really were other Asgards, other Alfheims, and other Jotunheims a long time ago?

It's just that they were all destroyed not long ago?
