"So, how do you want to do this?" Miles stood in the center of the arena, adopting a boxing stance.

"Do I need to give you a handicap? After all, I might end up hurting you."

"You can use your superpowers as you like." Yang Le raised his left hand, selecting an alien hero, which greatly annoyed Miles.

Miles thought Yang Le was adjusting his watch, perceiving it as contempt.

Miles mocked, "If you're trying to stall with your watch, you might as well just admit defeat."

Yang Le ignored him. Strategically despise the opponent, but tactically take them seriously. Although Miles had just gained superpowers, the writers had given this righteous little guy quite a few abilities, so it was easy to be caught off guard.

After all, Miles had the ability to shock, and most alien heroes didn't have electrical resistance.

"Hobie, take it easy." Ultimate Peter instructed. Not just him, no one in the entire arena thought Miles could win, which further irritated Miles.

"I will."

Yang Le pressed the transformation button, and a white light shone, blinding Miles.

When the bright light faded, Miles opened his eyes and found that Yang Le had disappeared. Instead, a slender and peculiar humanoid creature stood before him.

"Ready, kid?" Electro Lizard revealed its signature big white teeth, the smile of a strongman.

"Do I need to give you a two-hand handicap?"

Miles stood there, dumbfounded as he looked at Yang Le. Clearly, what was happening exceeded his expectations, and his brain briefly 'crashed'.

"Are you even human?" Miles asked blankly.

"Not for the time being." Electro Lizard's two rows of bright white teeth hurt Miles' eyes.

"Spider-Ham, would you do the honors and be the referee?"

"Gladly." Spider-Ham flashed to the middle of the two, pulling out a large wooden sign from who-knows-where, with a '3' written on it.

"So, both sides get ready, 3!"

Miles raised his hands, resuming the boxing stance Uncle Aaron had taught him.

Thinking of this, Miles' body stiffened. Just yesterday, he had learned about his favorite Uncle Aaron's other identity, which was one of the reasons he came here today.

"2!" Spider-Ham flipped the wooden sign, and the number changed to '2'.

Yang Le crossed his arms, maintaining his cynical attitude.

"1!" After Spider-Ham finished speaking, he jumped away, leaving the arena to the two.

Miles snapped back to reality, using the footwork his uncle had taught him, slowly approaching Yang Le.

"The footwork has some substance. Someone professional must have guided him, but it's too stiff." Shadow Spider hit the nail on the head from the sidelines.

"Looks like a newbie who's only hit a punching bag."

"Not bad, his starting point is higher than mine." 616 Peter yawned. "I didn't know anything back then."

As they spoke, Miles had moved closer to Yang Le with small steps. He warily watched the big guy in front of him, hoping his vital points were the same as humans'.

Seeing Miles just swaying around without attacking, Yang Le took the initiative, throwing a right-handed punch.

Miles had been staring at Yang Le. When he saw Yang Le's shoulder move, he knew he was about to attack. Sure enough, accompanied by the sound of air being torn, Yang Le's right fist swung towards him.

Perhaps due to intense concentration, this terrifying punch seemed to move in slow motion in Miles' eyes.

Miles shifted his weight, dodging the punch.

Looking at the fist that brushed past him, Miles felt a surge of joy. It turned out dodging an opponent's attack was so simple. Next, as long as he knocked the opponent down, no one would look down on him.

Miles smiled, suddenly feeling a pulling sensation on his foot. Then, he lost his balance, and everything spun. He was thrown to the ground.

It all happened too fast, so fast that his smile hadn't even disappeared. Miles felt the cold floor, knowing he must look very stupid right now.

"Is it over?" 616 Peter scratched his head. "Let's discuss Kingpin's matter."

"That was indeed faster than I thought." Shadow Spider played with the bullet in his hand.

Yang Le flicked his tail behind him, a classic case of neglecting the tail while focusing on the head, a common mistake for beginners.

That's right, Yang Le's punch was a feint. The real attack was the tail that had quietly wrapped around Miles.

"Are you okay, Miles?" Ultimate Peter stepped forward, helping Miles up.

"I... I'm fine." Actually, he wasn't. Miles felt too embarrassed. He had been knocked down in one round, especially in front of a girl he liked.

Miles secretly glanced at Gwen, finding her standing next to his opponent.

"Bullying a kid?" Gwen's smile was playful. "That doesn't seem like you."

"Oh?" Yang Le was a little curious. "What am I usually like?"

"You usually wouldn't bother with a kid like that." Gwen tossed her golden hair, her watery eyes full of teasing.

"Are you jealous?"

"It's enough to make a plate of dumplings." Yang Le didn't hide it, but he put it mildly.

Having lived with Yang Le for more than a year, Gwen, of course, understood Yang Le's words and couldn't help but laugh.

Yang Le being jealous of a child made her feel cute, and it made her heart sweet, because she was also annoyed by Miles' unintentional gazes.

Miles was a little disappointed. Ultimate Peter patted him on the shoulder, advising.

"Don't think about impossible things."

"It is indeed impossible." Because it ended before it even started, Miles didn't say the second half of the sentence, just sitting on the ground in disappointment.

"Don't be silly, kid." 616 Peter looked at Miles curled up on the ground, as if he saw himself hiding in the bathtub crying after breaking up with Mary Jane, and couldn't help but say a few words.

"You don't even have the right to be heartbroken, because she hasn't looked at you from beginning to end."

616 Peter, who had been depressed for a while, was full of aggression. These few words made Miles even more withdrawn.

"Okay, stop talking, Peter." Ultimate Peter sternly interrupted 616 Peter, then looked strange.

"This feeling is really weird, am I telling myself to shut up?"

"Yeah." 616 Peter stretched. "I thought you were talking to yourself."

"So, we need code names." Yang Le walked over with Gwen at this time.

"Especially you three Peters."

Yang Le pointed to Shadow Spider, Ultimate Peter, and 616 Peter respectively.

"Otherwise, it's too easy to get confused."

"Okay." Ultimate Peter nodded, thinking Yang Le made sense.

"So, Hobie, do you have any good ideas?"

"You're called Shadow Spider." Yang Le pointed to Shadow Spider, who gladly accepted.

"You're called Ultimate Spider." Yang Le pointed to Ultimate Peter again.

Although Ultimate Peter didn't understand why he was called that, he accepted it, because it sounded pretty cool.

"And you..." Yang Le pointed to 616 Peter.

Perhaps because the names Yang Le had given before were good, this middle-aged uncle, 616 Peter, couldn't help but look forward to it.

Finally, under 616 Peter's expectant gaze, Yang Le said his code name.

"Failure-Man."

616 Peter was stunned, only squeezing out a sentence after a long time.

"Oh, thank you very much."
