The mysterious journey begins with becoming a pirate
Chapter 379: Original Grudge
"What are you two doing here?" A deep but unfamiliar voice suddenly sounded behind Alok.
His spirit suddenly tensed up, and he entered the bullet time in an instant.
At this moment, he first turned his head and looked at the source of the sound, then moved in front of Il, pulled out the Crescent Mark, and entered a state of preparation.
After seeing the appearance of the person coming, he made a judgment.
It was the hunter.
This was the first time he had seen such a thing.
Is it teleportation? Or deception?
Came behind him in an instant, or was the person in front a disguise? Or are there two people?
But after thinking about it, the other person didn't seem to launch an attack, but instead gave a voice to remind him, so he calmed down a little, but didn't dare to relax.
"Who?" He frowned and asked at the moment after the bullet time exited.
The speed in the bullet time reached the limit, which was only a moment in the outside world.
The hunter obviously didn't expect that the enemy would change his posture in an instant, and he couldn't see Alok's movements. It changed from two owls to a human drawing a sword against each other.
But that was not his original intention. He continued to introduce himself in a deep voice:
"Boyka Wolf."
Eilok looked carefully at the man's appearance and clothing.
His upper body was naked, revealing his strong muscles, and his lower body was wearing leather shorts, standing barefoot on the ground.
His hair was half long and a little messy.
Although he was a hunter, he never carried a hunting bow. What impressed people was his one arm and the scar on his chest, which looked a little hideous.
But even so, his dark pupils still revealed the light of a ferocious beast, which made people shudder.
What did not match it was his voice, which was low and calm, and it sounded a little stable. He didn't look like a hunter.
"Birke Sigrit." Elok introduced himself in the same way.
At this time, Il also lifted the transformation form, but hid his ears, standing on the branch and said with some vigilance:
"Rail Sigrit."
The two sides confronted each other for half a minute, and Boyka finally broke the deadlock. He looked at the rising full moon, and his low voice sounded again in the forest:
"Everyone doesn't have to be like this. We are probably not enemies."
After another moment of silence, Alok put away the Crescent Mark in his hand, but still replied cautiously:
"That's right. But you should be careful in the wild."
"It's a good thing to be cautious, especially the Cappadocia nearby." Boyka held the tree trunk with one hand and continued with his back to the moon.
"Cappadocia?" Alok asked in confusion.
"Cappadocia? Those vampires?" Il answered this question for Alok. "Will they appear here?"
"It seems you have heard of it. I'm looking for him." Boyka said with some surprise.
Ir relaxed a little and asked, "I've heard of it. Is your last name Wolf?"
"Boyka Wolf." He repeated.
In his heart, Alok asked Ir about the meaning of these two surnames. Ir replied:
"Wolf is a werewolf family and a hunter family. The hunter's fourth-level skill of transforming into a werewolf was passed down from this family."
"And Cappadocia refers to vampires, the Cappadocia family. I don't know what profession they are, but the grudge between the two has been going on for a long time. No one knows who is right or wrong, but the Wolf family has a better reputation."
Ir thought for a while, looked at the strong man and continued:
"We have never seen that vampire. We are just exploring here and collecting some materials by the way."
"Thank you for your information. But I'm sorry that it's almost night, so it's better for us to separate a little." Boyka said calmly.
He slowly backed away, but Ir suddenly said:
"I suggest you not to go any deeper. There is a dangerous cursed evil creature wandering over there."
Hearing this, he paused for a moment, nodded slightly, and slowly backed away, eventually disappearing from Alok's sight.
After a while, when Alok confirmed that it was completely safe, he asked again:
"Werewolves? Are there really werewolves? And vampires? I thought they were just lies in storybooks."
Ir looked at Alok and confirmed: "Of course, there is a book on the bookshelf in our house that specifically writes about both. I remember it's called "Original Grudge."
"It's a novel, but it's true. I asked my dad about it."
"Where werewolves appear, vampires often appear. Although I can't confirm who is right and who is wrong between the two, we'd better be cautious."
"That's right." Alok nodded.
Ir began to light a fire, preparing to set up camp, and continued:
"Level 4 hunters will be forced to transform into irrational werewolves on full-moon nights, which will make them full of violent emotions, no less than demons. It is best to stay away from them. And today is a full-moon night."
"It seems that Boyka is quite rational and friendly, at least he is not staying around us. But don't be careless. Be careful at night. I will place a few more witch eyes."
"Got it." Alok nodded and agreed.
He has perked up. Because of his carelessness and mistakes just now, or rather, his lack of caution.
He didn't expect that the werewolf could appear directly behind him. If someone had planned something bad to happen to the two of them, he would have succeeded.
Fortunately, Boyka looked pretty good.
······
After a night, the surroundings were frighteningly quiet, but the moonlight today was exceptionally bright. It even looked like a huge light bulb.
In the second half of the night, Alok remained alert, especially the werewolf Boyka and the so-called Cappadocia.
This reminded him of the various stories about werewolves and vampires in the novels of his previous life.
This world also has them. But it is obviously much more real.
The night passed so peacefully, which can be regarded as the most peaceful night Alok has ever encountered.
He breathed a sigh of relief, and after Il woke up, he looked at her while making breakfast and said:
"Let's leave this area as soon as possible. I'm always a little uneasy. Besides, we have to find another person and borrow his map by the way."
Il's expression was very calm. He lit a bonfire with the flame that had not yet been extinguished and cooked a pot of carrot soup. While cutting carrots with a knife he carried with him, he asked casually:
"Did anything happen last night?"
"No, it was scary quiet." Alok answered truthfully.
"My premonition tells me what will happen." Il said calmly.
"Premonition?" Alok asked with some doubt.
"That's right. Witches are born with the gift of foresight." Il explained a little. Then, he continued:
"I'm afraid it has something to do with those two guys. I don't want to stay here and get involved in the struggle."
"Well, let's go after dinner." Alok responded concisely.
After eating a not-so-delicious breakfast, Alok's spirit was shaken.
Although he did not do additional meditation, he felt that his mental state was not bad today, and he had some premonitions. So he hurriedly started today's exploration mission.
But sometimes, when things really find you, you can't hide.
Flying in the air, around ten o'clock in the morning, Alok glimpsed the astral body of the hunter below again. But he looked a little sluggish.
He frowned slightly, but still said to Il:
"We met the werewolf again. It seems that your premonition is a bit accurate this time. But he looks injured. Should we fly down or fly away directly?"
"Have you seen other astral bodies? If not, go down and take a look. If two extraordinary people are fighting, we will leave." Il thought for a while and said.
"Only one." Alok responded.
He circled in the air, circling the position of the hunter, getting lower and lower until he landed on a nearby branch.
But seeing the situation of the werewolf in front of him, he and Il looked at each other, with a trace of worry and confusion in their eyebrows.
