The Summoner of the Battle of All Realms
Chapter 1019: Summoning the Strong Generals in the Battle of All Realms
Wang Yangming was a famous thinker, writer, philosopher and military strategist in the Ming Dynasty. He was the master of Lu Wang's philosophy and was proficient in Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism.
In the twelfth year of Hongzhi, he became a Jinshi. He successively served as the chief of the Ministry of Justice, the Chengyi of Guizhou Longchang, the magistrate of Luling, the censor of Youqiandu, the governor of Southern Jiangxi, and the governor of Guangdong and Guangxi. In his later years, he served as Shangshu of the Ministry of War in Nanjing and censor of Zuodu of the Metropolitan Procuratorate. For his military service in pacifying the Chenhao Rebellion, he was granted the title of Xinjian Bo, and was posthumously awarded Xinjian Marquis during the Longqing period. He was given the posthumous title Wencheng, so later generations also called him Duke Wencheng.
Wang Shouren (the master of Xinxue), Confucius (the founder of Confucianism), Mencius (the master of Confucianism), and Zhu Xi (the master of Neo-Confucianism) are collectively known as Confucius, Mencius, Zhu, and Wang.
Wang Shouren's doctrine and thought Wang Xue was the most influential philosophical thought in the Ming Dynasty. His academic thoughts spread to Fusu, the Korean Peninsula and Southeast Asia. He established his moral character and reputation, and his achievements were unrivaled in the Ming Dynasty.
He had so many disciples that he was known as the Yao Jiang School.
His articles are broad and profound, and his writing has a refreshing air. There is a complete book of Wang Wencheng. ..
Chapter 1390: Extraordinary birth and great fame
Wang Shouren had an extraordinary background. He was born into a prominent family in Yuyao, Zhejiang, and was born with a special temperament.
His mother was more than ten months pregnant before giving birth. Before he was born, his grandmother dreamed of a god in the clouds wearing scarlet jade and carrying a baby boy, who fell from the sky. His grandfather named him "Yun" and gave him The place where he lived was named "Ruiyun Tower".
After birth, he still couldn't speak at the age of five, but he had memorized the books his grandfather had read. An eminent monk passed by his house, touched his head and said, "What a good boy. It's a pity that the truth has been revealed."
His grandfather changed his name to "Shou Ren" based on what Wei Linggong said in the Analects of Confucius: "Knowing and benevolence cannot keep it. Even if you gain it, you will lose it." Then he started to speak.
His father Wang Hua loved the landscape of Shaoxing, so his family left Yuyao and moved to Shaoxing. As a child, Wang Shouren had a good family background and therefore had a very superior learning environment.
At the age of twelve, Wang Shouren officially entered the teacher's school.
At the age of thirteen, his mother Zheng passed away and he lost his mother at a young age. This was a great setback for him.
Once when I was discussing with Mr. Shu Shi what was the most important thing in the world, he was different from the ordinary people and believed that "the imperial examination is not the first priority". The most important thing in the world is to study and become a sage.
At that time, the country's government was corrupt and rebels were everywhere. During the Zhengtong period of Yingzong, Yingzong was captured by the Mongolian Oara tribe, and the court paid compensation to seek peace. This incident cast a huge shadow on Wang Shouren's young heart. He vowed to learn the art of war well and serve his country.
When he was fifteen years old, he wrote to the emperor many times and offered suggestions to quell the peasant uprising, but unfortunately to no avail. In the same year, he traveled to Juyongguan and Shanhaiguan for a month. Looking around the outside of the Great Wall, he already had the ambition to explore all directions.
When he was seventeen years old, he went to Nanchang to marry the daughter of Zhu Yanghe, but on the wedding day, no one could find him.
It turned out that when he was wandering around, he met a Taoist priest meditating there, so he asked the Taoist priest for advice. The Taoist priest taught him some health-preserving techniques, and he sat in meditation opposite the Taoist priest and forgot to return until his father-in-law found him the next day.
When he was eighteen years old, he and his wife Zhu Shi returned to Yuyao. When the ship passed Guangxin, Wang Shouren paid a visit to Lou Liang.
Wang Shouren was very happy when Lou Liang taught him the theory of "investigating things to gain knowledge".
After that, he read Zhu Xi's works and thought about the theory of Song Confucianism that "things have appearance, essence, and essence, and every plant and tree has its own principle."
In order to practice Zhu Xi's "studying things to gain knowledge", he once determined to find out the principles of bamboo and "studied" bamboos for three days and three nights. He found nothing, but he fell ill because of it.
From then on, Wang Shouren had great doubts about the theory of "Gewu". This is the famous "Shouren Gezhu" in the history of Kyushu philosophy.
At the age of twenty-eight, he participated in the examination of the Ministry of Rites. Because of his excellent performance in the examination, he was promoted to the second person in Nangong and the seventh person to be awarded the second-level Jinshi.
In the first year of Zhengde of Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty, Liu Jin was good at governing and arrested more than 20 people including Dai Xian, the censor of Nanjing.
Wang Shouren went to Longchang, Guizhou Province, and made Liu Jin angry. At the same time, his father Wang Hua was also expelled from Beijing and transferred to Nanjing as Minister of Civil Affairs.
On the way, Wang Shouren was chased by Liu Jin's men, and he faked diving to commit suicide.
Wang Shouren, who escaped the pursuit, secretly went to Nanjing to meet his father Wang Hua. Wang Hua said to him: "Since the imperial court has entrusted you with an order, you have a responsibility. You'd better take office."
Then he embarked on the road and came to Longchang, Guizhou, which was still an uncivilized area at that time.
Wang Shouren was not discouraged. He taught the local people according to their customs and was loved by the people.
During this period, he gained a new understanding of the central idea of the university. Wang Shouren realized that "the way of the sage is self-sufficient in nature, and it is wrong to seek reasons for things from it."
During this period, he wrote "Doctrine Revealing All Lives in Longchang", which was known as Longchang Enlightenment in history.
At the beginning of the fifth year of Zhengde, Wang Shouren's exile period expired and he was reinstated as magistrate of Luling County. In August, Liu Jin was eliminated by Yang Yiqing and the eunuch Zhang Yong. Wang Shouren was immediately called to Beijing and served as the head of the Department of Officials of the Ministry of Personnel.
Later, Wang Shouren was valued by the Minister of War and put down the bandit rebellion.
Wang Shouren's military use was "weird" and arbitrary, and he was known as a "cunning soldier".
And Wang Shouren led the scholars and Pian Pi to annihilate the thieves who had been causing trouble for decades. People nearby exclaimed that Shouren was a god.
Wang Shouren also became famous.
Later, King Ning Zhu Chenhao launched a rebellion, which shocked the ministers in the court.
King Ning believes that many people are familiar with it.
The "Ning Wang" in Tang Bohu's Qiuxiang is Zhu Chenhao.
Later, Wang Shouren gathered his troops, and the two sides finally fought a decisive battle at Poyang Lake. After three days of fierce fighting, King Ning was defeated and captured. King Ning's rebellion ended after thirty-five days.
Later, Wang Shouren's father Wang Hua passed away, and Wang Shouren returned to his hometown to maintain the system. At the age of fifty-four, Wang Shouren resigned and returned to his hometown to give lectures. He founded academies in Shaoxing and Yuyao, preached "Wang Xue", and studied four sentences at Tianquan Bridge. Teaching: There is no good or evil body, there are good and evil actions. Knowing good and evil is liangzhi, doing good and eliminating evil is qingwu. ..
Chapter 1391 Gao Yuanyuan and Chen Qiaoen’s surprise
Xu Wei once praised: Wang Xizhi 'covers his people with books', and Wang Shouren 'covers his books with people'.
Xin Xue, also known as Yangming Xue, is a school of Confucianism that can be traced back to Mencius and is a Confucian theory developed by Wang Shouren. According to Wang Shouren's life experience, he was obviously more influenced by Taoism than Buddhism, but he was still inseparable from the essence of Confucianism. Wang Shouren inherited Lu Jiuyuan's emphasis on "the heart is reason" and opposed Cheng Yi and Zhu Xi's pursuit of "the ultimate" through everything. The method of "investigating things to gain knowledge\
,"Because there are endless truths, and it would be troublesome to follow the rules, we advocate "developing conscience" and looking for "reason" from one's own heart. "Reason" is all in the human "heart", and "reason" transforms everything in the universe, heaven and earth, and people uphold it. It is delicate and graceful, so people's hearts naturally embrace its essence. Regarding the relationship between knowledge and action, it is emphasized that we must know and more importantly, do. There is action within knowledge, and there is knowledge within action. The so-called "unity of knowledge and action", the two are mutually exclusive and inseparable. Knowledge must be manifested in action, otherwise it cannot be regarded as true knowledge.
Yangmingology was one of the mainstream theories in the middle and late Ming Dynasty. It was later spread to Fusang and had a great influence on Fusang and East Asia.
Fusu really didn't expect that Wang Yangming would be summoned.
Fusu admired Wang Yangming very much. Being able to compare with Confucius and Mencius was enough to show that he was extraordinary.
Fusu thought for a while and summoned Wang Yangming.
When Wang Yangming was summoned, a white arch appeared in front of Fusu, emitting a strong light.
This is nothing else, this is an arch composed of awe-inspiring righteousness.
Following Fusu's movements, a man walked out from outside the arch after a while.
It was Wang Yangming.
Wang Yangming is a bit thin, especially his chin, which makes him look like Wukong.
Wang Yangming has a beard and although his eyes are small, they give people an unusual aura.
Wang Yangming walked up to Fusu and paid his respects to Fusu.
"Wang Shouren pays homage to the eldest son," Wang Yangming said to Fusu.
