The Trinity of Harry Potter

Chapter 121 Cultural and propaganda work

"Mr. Black, what brings you to my place?"

Snape's face still looked so foul. He stopped holding the scalpel in his hand and looked at Kano with his dark eyes through the greasy hair.

"Good afternoon, Professor Snape. Principal Dumbledore should have informed you that I will be here." Kano didn't care about his attitude. The two of them had disliked each other for more than a day or two.

"Otherwise I would have kicked you out a long time ago." Snape sneered, "I know you solved Lupin's furry little problem, but I wonder how I can serve a potions master like you?"

Snape has been brewing wolfsbane potion for Lupine this year. Although he deliberately made the taste of the potion disgusting, the effect has not been compromised.

Of course, he knew about Kano's experiment immediately and also knew that Lupine's werewolf transformation had been solved.

"I haven't used potions, and I can't be called a potion master." Kano waved his hand, "I found you today because I want you to help me prepare a potion that can bring a burning sensation to people."

"Oh? I think this is not a problem for you. There is no need to let Dumbledore speak."

Kano smiled and leaned forward: "This burning sensation is quite special. Among the people Dumbledore absolutely trusts, you are the only one who has experienced it."

Snape's face turned pale, as if he was wearing a mask.

"Yes, that's what I'm referring to." Ignoring Snape's strangeness, Kano nodded his arm, "When the Dark Mark is activated, that strong burning sensation in a specific location."

There was silence in the underground office, and Snape seemed to be trying to see something through Kano's smile.

"Who do you want to deal with?"

"You don't need to know this."

"What if I say no?"

"It's harmless."

Kano stood up calmly: "But let's forget about this opportunity to avenge Lily Evans."

"I have good intentions, but no one appreciates it."

"What do you know?" Snape stabbed the dead frog with his knife viciously.

"Haha, although Dumbledore didn't say anything, I know everything."

Looking at Kano's unchanged smile, Snape's face twitched.

"Get out, get out."

"Then I'll pick up the goods tomorrow night. Goodbye, Professor Snape." Kano stood up naturally and left the underground office.

Snape sat on the chair, his face gloomy.

Veritaserum is resistant, so it cannot be used to convict unless there is conclusive evidence.

To be precise, as long as someone drinks a mind-affecting potion, none of his words will be used as evidence in court.

The same goes for Legilimency. Human memory is not a book and can be completely faked using magic.

But what if he tells the truth himself?

Peter Pettigrew now lives in the basement of Hogwarts Castle, with a whole team of Aurors guarding the door.

Fudge has equipped him with the highest level of security, and now that everyone knows he is an Animagus, he has no chance of escaping.

As a reward for cooperating with Fudge's publicity, Peter received a huge sum of Galleons. When Sirius was caught, he could take the money and fly away.

Peter was lying on the luxurious bed, still unable to sleep.

Carnot's special sobering potion was too strong, Ron fed him a small dish that night, and now the highest dose of life and death water can't make him fall asleep.

Long-term sleep deprivation, coupled with the psychological pressure caused by Sirius's appearance, has put Peter's spirit on the verge of collapse.

"His spirit is too tense and his body may collapse if it lasts longer."

In the office of the Minister of Magic, the therapist from St. Mungo's reported the situation to Fudge. Fudge waved his hand: "Wouldn't it be better to give him a potion that replenishes his body's nutrition?"

"Drinking too much will cause a disconnect between his body and mind. This side effect is difficult to treat." The therapist frowned.

"It's not like you want him to drink it every day, you just write a prescription."

The therapist reluctantly left the prescription, and Fudge immediately sent someone to prepare the medicine.

He didn't care what kind of illness Peter would leave behind. Once his political show was completed, this wretched old wizard would become a worthless dirty rag to him.

Who cares whether he lives or lives? It would be better to die and save a lot of money.

"Minister, are you free?"

A delicate voice sounded from outside the door, and after receiving permission, the owner of the voice walked in.

Ms. Dolores Umbridge, who was dressed very pink and looked like a toad, walked in with a pretentious step.

Fudge obviously liked this, and asked her to sit down with a smile: "Dolores, what do you want?"

"Minister, the Hogwarts School Board is the organizer of this hero's return party. They want to invite the French Minister of Magic and others to attend the party. I wonder if you agree."

Fudge took the application from Umbridge's hand, glanced at it briefly, and nodded.

"That's good, let's show our faces in front of our European colleagues, lest those French people vote against us at the International Federation of Wizards."

"One more thing." Umbridge did not take out the second document. "It is a verbal inquiry. The school board wants to rehearse a magic play, and the theme is Peter's heroic experience."

"Peter's heroic experience? Hahaha!" Fudge laughed so hard that he couldn't breathe. "A mouse's heroic experience? He hasn't been eaten by a cat for more than ten years. It's really not easy! Hahahaha!"

Umbridge also gave a fake laugh. Fudge had enough laughter and wiped the tears from his eyes.

"Okay, let's just do it. This proves that our propaganda is effective, doesn't it?"

"They said that the plot about you is very good. After all, you are the one who found Peter, the 'hero'. After you capture Sirius, there will be an additional scene in the script and a nationwide tour."

Fudge nodded with satisfaction: "If they really tour the country, I can grant them travel expenses."

"Then let them perform at the party for the first time. I'll also take a look at the quality. After all, it wouldn't be good if I overacted."

The two laughed tacitly again, and Kano, who was weaving the conspiracy from behind, couldn't help but smile after receiving permission.

Soon, Snape's potion was ready.

"This potion will only work on those who have been branded with the Dark Mark. Just one drop can restore the burning feeling."

Snape pinched his arm subconsciously. Last night, he personally tested the medicine. Several times, he was not sure of the dosage and was rolling on the ground in pain.

"Speaking of which, do you know what the Dark Mark is?" Kano asked curiously as he picked up the turbid yellow potion.

Snape shook his head: "I don't know. It's not difficult to activate it. You just need to input magic power in a specific way. Every Death Eater can do it."

"But no one has been able to successfully eliminate it so far. Otherwise, those who escaped would have been innocent again."

Kano nodded and prepared to leave.

"Black, will every sinner be punished?" Snape murmured.

"At least I'm sure you've been punished." Kano sighed and closed the basement door.
