"Haa." Ling Tian sighed.

Now he can't seem to come up with any excuse to teach her.

"Okay, I'll teach you some techniques to make you stronger. Now can you let me go?" Ling Tian smiled ambiguously at her.

Long Yuyin nodded and released Ling Tian's clothing.

"Do you know each other?" Ling Tian asked Mu Shuiruo. He had heard that Mu Shuiruo had called Long Yuyin 'sister', no doubt they must know each other.

"En." Mu Shuiruo nodded, still with her delicate fingers grabbing a small piece of Ling Tian's clothing: "Sister Yuyin has been one of my friends since we were very children. Sometimes she has come to visit us."

Ling Tian nodded as he thought: 'The world is really very small...'

He never thought that Long Yuyin would be friends with Mu Shuiruo, so it was no doubt an unforeseen event in his plan.

"Lady Long, can you come tomorrow better? I just arrived today and I want to rest." Ling Tian wasn't tired, he just needed to think about what techniques he could impart to her.

Long Yuyin squinted when she heard Ling Tian.

Just as she was about to say something, Ling Tian raised his hand to stop her: "Lady Long, I have lost my bet, so I will keep my word, don't worry. Besides, I live here and have nowhere else to go."

Ling Tian looked at her seriously, with no hint of a lie in his eyes.

Long Yuyin was slightly lost in Ling Tian's gaze, his eyes black as the depths of the sea. Immediately, she shook her head as a slight blush appeared on her.

Mu Shuiruo watched her behavior and her heart gave a greater sense of crisis.

"Brother Tian, what bet are you talking about?" Mu Shen who had not said a word all that time, asked hesitantly.

Ling Tian turned to him and said, "I made a bet with Lady Long that if she could find me in 3 days, I would be her master and teach her a few things to make her stronger. That' s all..."

Is that all?

Mu Shen opened his eyes when he watched Long Yuyin.

This woman wanted Ling Tian to be her master so she could become stronger!

She's not just any woman, she's one of the Star City Goddesses!

Mu Shen didn't understand how this Goddess who was a little distant was so attached to Ling Tian.

Ling Tian smiled with irony. He was certain that this change of event was due to Long Yuyin.

Long Yuyin had her eyes wide open at the sight of Mu Shuiruo's behavior. She had never seen Mu Shuiruo do such things. Her behavior was quiet and shy, so it was rare to see Mu Shuiruo act in such a way.

In her heart, Long Yuyin continued to feel that strange sensation, that it was like when something did not please her.

"Brother Shen, I'm going out for a while, I'll go to the city to get some things." Ling Tian told Mu Shen, who was still thinking of some way to ask Ling Tian to teach him to be stronger.

Mu Shen nodded quickly, without asking where he was going.

"Lady Long, you'd better come tomorrow..." Ling Tian told Long Yuyin when he saw that she hadn't moved from the place.

Somehow, Long Yuyin didn't want to leave. She was afraid Ling Tian would run away again, even though she knew this place was where he was staying.

Ling Tian only shook his head ironically as he said goodbye to Mu Shen and left the house.

Long Yuyin did not hesitate and followed Ling Tian.

Mu Shuiruo was currently in her bedroom.

She had observed Long Yuyin's interaction with Ling Tian, so she feared she would lose Ling Tian if he fell in love with Long Yuyin, so without a second thought she kissed him on the cheek and ran away like a frightened little deer.

Now, she was even more embarrassed to have done such a thing.

First she had run to him and hugged him without thinking.

Then she clung even more tightly to his body.

When Long Yuyin arrived, she reluctantly let go of Ling Tian, forgetting that she had been too shy to hug him before. Still, she still grabbed a fold of his clothes.

In the end, she kissed his cheek boldly, then escaped to her room.

Mu Shuiruo's face was red and boiling with the embarrassing feeling that had passed.

Taking the small ruby in her hands from the chest of drawers in her bedroom, she made up her mind.

Tonight she would give it to him to show her feelings.

Ling Tian walked out a little fast. Behind him was Long Yuyin.

"As the daughter of the Lord of the City, you have no other things to do?" Ling Tian asked without turning his head.

Long Yuyin did not speak, her gaze was fixed on Ling Tian's back.

Ling Tian smiled bitterly.

"Lady Long, is it necessary for you to follow me? I already gave you my word that I will teach you." Ling Tian spoke again.

"You can call me Yuyin..." Long Yuyin whispered.

"Huh? But I hardly know you, Lady Long." Ling Tian touched his nose.

Long Yuyin did not respond.

It was not that she was upset, but she realized that now they were both alone, so she became nervous inside. She did not know what to say or how to answer his questions, it was as if she had lost the ability to speak and think correctly.

Ling Tian rolled his eyes in despair at not receiving a response from her, so without thinking, he launched his invisibility spell and disappeared from Long Yuyin's sight.

"Eh?" Long Yuyin was shocked when she saw Ling Tian disappear.

She looked everywhere, but found no trace of him.

Long Yuyin grimaced as she stomped furiously on the ground: "Hmph!" She complained when she saw Ling Tian nowhere.

Long Yuyin looked around again. After several seconds, she pursed her lips even more and headed home.

Ling Tian was in the air a few feet away, sitting on top of his sword, watching her.

Ling Tian laughed slightly bitterly as he entered such situations.

Why did he think to make such a bet?

Now he would have a woman obsessed with martial arts who would not rest until he taught her.

Ling Tian rose into the sky and flew on his sword toward the city.

He went down and walked all over the center, looking for and buying many medicinal and spiritual herbs. He had plenty of money after selling some of his low-level weapons he had in his space ring.

Ling Tian was thinking about making several elixirs for those around him to take and become stronger.

For some reason, he sensed that there might be a revolt with the demonic beasts, so there would be a horde that would attack the city. With these elixirs, he could boost their strength.

Ling Tian finished getting everything he had planned to buy, when he once again rose to the sky on his blade.

As he was about to return home, Ling Tian decided to take a ride around the city.

He released his spiritual sense as he scanned his surroundings.

The demon beasts these days have moved away from the city and gathered in the forest, several kilometers away from the city. No doubt, this was strange behavior on their part.

The demon beasts were creatures that had lost their rationality and only their wild instinct was overpowering them.

The spiritual and immortal beasts could think and have the mentality of even an adult; they could even be tamed.

Just as Ling Tian was about to head home, he instantly noticed something.

An anger and a killing intent emanated from his eyes.
