The Way of The Dao

Long Yuyin stood at the door, smiling happily with her gaze directly at Ling Tian.

At once, she ran directly and grabbed Ling Tian's clothes, in case he wanted to escape.

"Let's see where you run to. Now you have to keep your promise." Long Yuyin smiled brightly, oblivious to what her father had told her about treating Ling Tian with care.

Ling Tian sighed and smiled helplessly as Long Yuyin clung to him.

Now, he had two great beauties at his side, one woman hugging him after waiting so long, and another woman grabbing his clothes after searching for him for several days.

Mu Shen opened his eyes to the shock of seeing his brother trapped by Long Yuyin.

She was one of the five goddesses of the star city!

And not only that, her sister was also hugging him.

Ling Tian had two goddesses of the star city in his hands!

"S-sister Yuyin... what are you doing here?"

Mu Shuiruo's eyes were open in confusion as she watched Long Yuyin's action. Unconsciously, she hugged Ling Tian slightly tighter when a sense of crisis flares up in her heart. Her previous nervousness about having dared to hug Ling Tian disappeared.

"Mmm?" Long Yuyin turned her gaze to Mu Shuiruo, now realizing that there were more people around. Her face turned red, but still she refused to let go of Ling Tian's clothes while adding more strength to prevent him from escaping like last time: "Sister Shuiruo, long time no see, hehe..." Long Yuyin smiled stiffly.

Ling Tian smiled impotently as both girls pressed harder on him. He could feel the soft mountains on Mu Shuiruo's side. It was the first time she had ever held on to him tightly.

"Lady Long, could you please let go? I can't move with both of you around me". Ling Tian smiled ironically at such a situation. No doubt any other man would be willing to enjoy having beauty on top of him.

"But if I let you go, you'll get away like last time!" Long Yuyin refused to let go of Ling Tian's clothes.

She had been looking for Ling Tian these days, but had not been able to find him, not even a clue about him.

She didn't give up.

She would do anything to find him no matter what.

She wanted to be strong like him.

She wanted to get to the top of martial arts

No doubt he would be the only one who could take her to the highest peak of martial arts.

His power was a proof of that.

Two days had passed and she was more desperate, as she could not find him.

She decided to go and ask some of her friends from years ago if they knew anything about a mysterious person.

Early in the morning of the third day, Long Yuyin left early and headed for the house where Mu Shuiruo lived.

She and Mu Shuiruo had known each other since they were very children, along with other girls. In time, this friendship group dispersed for various reasons and circumstances.

Even so, she still spoke to Mu Shuiruo and other friends from time to time, even though it was not as it once was.

Long Yuyin arrived in front of the Mu house.

She had previously told Mu Shuiruo that she could move into her home within the star city if an unexpected horde of demonic beasts attacked the place, and both siblings would be safe within the city.

Mu Shuiruo refused, however, saying that she did not wish to be a nuisance and that she was fine living in her home.

When Long Yuyin arrived at the site, she found the door open, so it was strange for her and she entered without warning of her presence.

The moment she entered, her eyes opened with surprise and excitement.

The person she had been looking for was in front of her at this moment!

Without a second's hesitation, Long Yuyin ran quickly, entering the Mu family home and grabbing Ling Tian's clothes tightly, for fear that he would escape again as he had done last time.

Ling Tian rolled his eyes: "Lady Long, I live here so there would be no point in running away now."

Now that Long Yuyin found Ling Tian here, she would no doubt ask both siblings about their relationship with Ling Tian.

Long Yuyin struggled in her mind for a few seconds as she decided whether to let go or not, but in the end, she let go of Ling Tian's clothes.

Ling Tian sighed when she saw Long Yuyin let go of his clothes. Now, only Mu Shuiruo was missing.

"Little Shuiruo, you can let me go, I'm not going anywhere for now." Ling Tian smiled tenderly at her as he patted her on the head.

Mu Shuiruo hesitated to let go of Ling Tian, but after a few seconds, she withdrew. She still grabbed a small hem of his clothing, however. A cuddly pout formed on her face.

Ling Tian smiled affectionately at this.

Long Yuyin saw the interaction of the two of them and felt a strange emotion in her heart. She did not know what that was, it was the first time she had ever felt that.

Mu Shen still could not come out of his daze. This was new and strange for him. His sworn brother was like a magnet for women. He already had two goddesses in his hands!

"Haa." Ling Tian sighed and changed his gaze to Long Yuyin: "Lady Long, it's been several days, so you've lost the bet."

Ling Tian smiled slyly at her, hoping that she would not remember exactly what he had told her.

However, a woman's intelligence is high and more, when they set out to achieve something no matter what, so her mind records everything without forgetting the slightest detail: "Big brother don't want to fool me! You said that if I could find you in three days, you would teach me to be stronger!"

Ling Tian kept looking at her, not taking a step back, with the same smile: "And it's been four days, hasn't it?"

"No!" Long Yuyin refused with her head: "I remember very well what you told me! 'If you can find me in three days from tomorrow, I will accept to be your Master' Today is the third day, so I won the bet!"

Long Yuyin smiled triumphantly, as if she were about to receive a great prize.

Ling Tian twisted his lip when he heard Long Yuyin's reply.

Indeed, he had told her that. Since they had met that time, exactly four days had passed, but the counting of the days would start the next day, so this was officially the third day.

Without a doubt, Long Yuyin had won the bet.

Ling Tian smiled bitterly, now he had to find another excuse to avoid teaching her...

Somehow, Long Yuyin looked at Ling Tian's face and knew that he might be thinking of some excuse not to teach her.

Quickly, Long Yuyin clung to Ling Tian's clothes again, as she said in an anxious voice: "You have to keep the bet! You are not allowed to say any excuse to avoid teaching me!"

This time, her grip was stronger than it was last time.

Ling Tian sighed, closed his eyes, and raised his head in defeat.

Women really are insightful and tenacious after all...
