The police are busy performing their duties and are heavily guarded. Qi Lin glanced around and his eyes fell on a staff member.

"Hello, I'm Qi Lin." He walked up to the staff member and stretched out his hand.

"Are you the legendary Qi Lin?" the staff member responded, "My name is Li Ming, and I am the person in charge of security in this building. This explosion happened so suddenly that we were all caught off guard."

"Please tell me what happened." Qi Lin said.

Li Ming sighed. "Last night, a company in the building was having an important meeting. Suddenly, the entire conference room seemed to have been struck by lightning, and the explosion was deafening. Then, flames and thick smoke spread quickly."

"Did anyone die?" Qi Lin asked.

Li Ming nodded, "Unfortunately, five people were killed in the explosion and many others were injured. The police are investigating the source of the fire, but have not yet reached any conclusion.

"Have you noticed any suspicious behavior?" Qi Lin continued to ask.

Li Ming frowned. "Actually, this is a technology company, and their meetings are very confidential. Participants in the meeting are strictly screened, and they need to pass multiple security checks to enter the building. At least on the surface, there is nothing unusual."

"I need to know more and may need to talk to the injured personnel." Qi Lin said.

Li Ming led Qi Lin through the ruins towards the medical area. The injured were rushed to the hospital, but some with minor injuries were still waiting to be treated at the scene.

Qi Lin approached a man sitting on a chair and said, "Hello, I am Qi Lin. Were you injured in this explosion?"

The man nodded. "Yes, fortunately, I only suffered minor injuries. I am a senior engineer in that company and participated in last night's meeting."

"Can you tell me what was discussed at the meeting?" Qi Lin asked.

The man hesitated for a moment, and then said: "Our company is developing a new energy technology, and the meeting is mainly to discuss the latest progress of this technology."

Qi Lin left the medical area and returned to the explosion site. He carefully observed the ruins and noticed some seemingly inconspicuous details. On the ground, several strange objects caught his attention.

Qi Lin squatted down and looked at these objects carefully. They look like burning residue, but unlike ordinary flames, these objects glow with strange colors.

"What is this?" Qi Lin said to himself.

Just then, a policeman walked up to him. "Mr. Qi, we are investigating the source of the fire. Have you found anything?"
