Chapter 13 Biological Sage

The hull of the Ninth Brotherhood's strike cruiser was manufactured on the Mars dock. After the main body of the cruiser was completed, it was sent to Demos, the exclusive forging world of the Grey Knights, and further installed with the Grey Knights' emblem and psychic equipment.

As the most valuable property of the Ninth Brotherhood, Tai Yue decided to go to Demos in person and bring the strike cruiser back to Broadsword Station.

Tai Yue connected the mechanical tentacles on the power armor to the control system of the Storm Crow gunboat. Through the electronic data interface, he can easily control the rudder pedals and flight control system, and can also keep an eye on flight data such as airspeed indicator, level, altimeter, tilt indicator, heading indicator, vertical speed indicator, etc.

A few months ago, he took the Storm Crow gunboat to Demos to complete additional surgery. Now he is a qualified driver and can skillfully drive the Storm Crow gunboat.

The servitors that went to Demos with him were debugged, including three technical servitors, one clerical servitor, and six combat servitors. These ten servitors will serve as the first batch of staff on the cruiser, while the rest of the servitors will be left in the fortress monastery for Gary to dispatch.

Arriving above Demos, a brand-new cruiser appeared on the screen in front of Tai Yue. The swords and book logos on both sides of the bow indicated that it belonged to the Grey Knights.

After he connected the cruiser's communication, he drove the Storm Crow gunboat to stop inside the ship.

Just after leaving the cockpit, Tai Yue found that a Mechanicus sage who was nearly 2 meters tall was waiting here.

"Master Tai Yue? I am the student of the Great Sage Kaul, the biological sage Della, and I am here to hand over this strike cruiser on behalf of Lord Kaul."

The woman's pronunciation was not accompanied by any mechanical vibration, but was issued by the pure flesh and blood vocal cords.

The red robe wrapped her whole body, revealing a face that was completely symmetrical like a silver plate. If it weren't for the servo heads floating around, she would be an ordinary imperial citizen and would not be associated with the Mechanicus Sage at all.

"Although her face is a metal mask, there is no metal structure in her body!"

Phoenix curiously scanned the woman in front of him and informed Taiyue through the data line of the "servo head".

Taiyue knew a little about the Mechanicus Sage, and the biological sage in front of him was obviously an alien.

"Scanning the body of a Mechanicus Sage who just met is not what an Astartes monk should do!"

"Sorry, no offense."

Taiyue was a little embarrassed at the moment. He quietly persuaded Phoenix not to scan casually, and he didn't know if Phoenix listened.

"The flesh, as a more advanced machine, is not more fragile than metal. Your gene seed is the best evidence."

"Great Sage Kaul was once a gene scientist. As a xenobiologist, I have the honor to assist Lord Kaul in the research and development of spiritual bone generation organs and mechanical hearts. These two organs themselves prove that the flesh and machinery are essentially the same, and are both gifts from the mechanical god!"

Della's simple explanation eliminated Tai Yue's doubts. The servo head on her left began to introduce the parameters of the handover cruiser:

This strike cruiser is 5,200 meters long. Although it has only 2,000 crew members, its degree of automation is much higher than other ships. It is also equipped with the most advanced plasma engines and subspace engines.

The weapon system includes the weapon array and torpedo tubes at the bow, as well as the light spear arrays on both sides.

At the end of the introduction, Della changed the subject:

"Considering that the Ninth Brotherhood has just been established and is not familiar with the operation of the cruiser, as the developer of the two metal organs, I will stay on the cruiser, responsible for the operation of the cruiser, and maintain your two metal organs."

"Are you going to monitor us?!"

Tai Yue expressed dissatisfaction with the joining of this biological sage.

"Absolutely not!"

Tai Yue could only accept it. He guessed that the Great Sage Kaul might not easily hand over the strike cruiser to him, but he did not expect that he would directly send a biological sage to the ship.

After Tai Yue returned to Titan, he immediately went to the Seventh Brotherhood to contact Elvis, the representative of the Tribunal stationed in Titan. He now needed to recruit astropaths and navigators.

"Do you have any recommended candidates?"

Elvis asked casually.

Tai Yue thought of Elizabeth, the navigator on the black ship, and Su Jingrong, the astropath of the Su Merchant Dynasty.

"If I can contact the people you recommend and they are willing to leave their current ships, I will bring them over!"
