Warhammer III

Chapter 19: Heading to Tethys

After completing two trials, Taiyue drove the Storm Crow gunboat to the strike cruiser docked at Broadsword Station.

The third trial was held on Saturn's moon Tethys, and it was necessary to take a ship to leave the subspace and return to the solar system.

"Master Grand Master, we need to check the condition of the two metal organs."

The biological sage Della came to the cruiser's hangar to wait for Taiyue as soon as possible. The latter had not been to the cruiser for several months, and the relevant monitoring data had not been collected.

Taiyue nodded and followed Della to the cryogenic storage room.

The cooling equipment in the center of the storage room was running silently, and the metal seeds were stored in it. Newcomers to the Ninth Brotherhood also received implantation surgery here.

The servitor quickly took off his power armor and electronic muscle bundle armor, and the naked Taiyue calmly accepted Della's inspection.

After the Astartes have their gene detection nerves and dormant meninges implanted, they will be hypnotized or psychic illusions to activate the functions of these organs. During this period, their physiological impulses will also be blocked by hypnosis. As war machines, they do not have such worldly desires.

Dela extended her left hand, and the black tissue extended from her shoulder to her palm. After completely covering her entire arm, she stroked Taiyue's body, sensing the strength and health status contained in it.

Taiyue noticed that the black tissue on her left hand was similar to the immature black carapace. Was it a specially modified gene seed? The biological sage in front of him should not be underestimated.

"The implanted organs are fine, they fit your body perfectly, a perfect body!"

Dela, who has dissected countless aliens, had to praise Taiyue in front of her.

Then two servo heads floated to Taiyue and scanned him around.

The scanning beam went straight through his skin and ribs, and transmitted the data to Dela:

10% of the spirit bone, 70% mainly concentrated in the skull and spine;

120% of the mechanical cell activity, 10% of the free blood concentration;

50% of the efficiency of the spirit bone generation organ in converting subspace energy;

5% of the rate at which the mechanical heart generates new cells.

"Within 10 years, your spirit bone composition will reach more than 80% of the skeleton, and any damage will be instantly repaired by the mechanical heart!"

Dela was very satisfied with these results, and expected the Astartes monk in front of him to evolve into a perfect life form, rather than just a semi-finished product like himself.

Taiyue stared at the biological sage in front of him, wondering if she was that person?

Considering that she might report the intelligence of the Ninth Brotherhood to the Great Sage Caul, he had to control her.

"Anything else? Grand Master."

Facing Taiyue's gaze, Dela's bionic mask showed no expression.

"Do you know the "Alien Codex"? "

Dela was obviously startled, and the two fell into a subtle silence.

"Where is the Flesh Defense Merchant Ship?"

The man in front of her must have known her past through some method. Dela frowned under the mask.

"I was indeed invited to participate in that experiment more than a decade ago. After returning to Mars, I joined the research of metal seeds as an alien biologist."

"Who invited you? Alien Inquisitor Todd?"

"The Varnak Circle Sect, a faction of biological sages that studies the Tyranids."

"What is the purpose of your experiment?"

"Creating a sub-species that is immune to gene stealer infection and establishing an alien isolation zone. How did you know about this?"

"Prophet psychics can not only predict the future, but also peek into the past! This is a secret between the two of us!"

Tai Yue said meaningfully. He found that another use of the name of prophet psychics is concealment and deception.

"I have something for you."

After Tai Yue finished speaking, the servitor beside him took his silver shoulder armor.

"This is the head armor of a pure-blooded chicken thief from the Doomsday Lighthouse Genestealer Sect. It may be of research value to you."

Della accepted Taiyue's gift, and she knew that it represented his sincerity.

"On this strike cruiser, I will not interfere with any of your research on aliens!"

Thinking of the Tyranids that entered Holy Terra in the prophecy, and Mansha's infection resistance, Taiyue himself was not opposed to this research.

"God Emperor, I will follow you to death!"

Della made a promise, and then took off the bionic mask, revealing her true face.

Her eyebrows were picturesque, and her eyes were pure as water. This was the perfect creation of genetic technology.

"Notify the crew to come to the bridge for a meeting in 30 minutes!"

This will be the first voyage of the Ninth Brotherhood Strike Cruiser, and Taiyue now needs to get familiar with the crew.

Della quickly passed the message through the servo head.

"Help me find a robe."

"You don't wear power armor?"

"I'm going to participate in the trial of the regiment on Tethys this time, and I can't wear power armor during the trial."

Della personally retrieved a gray robe, and Taiyue put it on and went to the bridge with her.

Star talker Su Jingrong and navigator Elizabeth were already on the bridge waiting for the arrival of the Grand Master. They were all wondering what kind of Astartes the person would be.

Seeing two familiar people again, Taiyue smiled.

Su Jingrong was blindfolded, but when Taiyue arrived, she felt that the psychic projection of the Grand Master was so familiar.

She took off the cloth and saw clearly the man in front of her. Although his figure had become taller and he had become the Grand Master of the Gray Knights Chapter, his appearance had hardly changed!

And Elizabeth almost called Taiyue's name directly. She covered her mouth and looked at the man in front of her in disbelief.

Tai Yue gave her a prophecy five years ago, and she chose to leave the Black Ship and start looking for her own destiny. When she received recruitment information from the Tribunal, she knew that the path to the prophecy had been opened for her. Only the powerful departments of the empire could She has help.

"Your Majesty the God Emperor, our cruiser is going to start its first voyage today, and there are some things to discuss."

Taiyue did not rush to catch up with the two, but held an impromptu crew meeting.

"Our strike cruiser hasn't been named yet. Do you have any suggestions?"

"Machine Heart."

Della suggested using the name of the Ninth Brotherhood.

"Eternal Will."

"Soul Salvation."

Astropaths and navigators also gave their opinions.

"Uruk, the first city of mankind, the starting point of civilization."

Tai Yue expressed his suggestion. After meeting Neos in his dream, he searched for relevant information and finally discovered the origin of the city of Uruk.

"Agree!" The three of them replied in unison after thinking about it.

The Uruk strike cruiser left the Broadsword Station. Under Elizabeth's precise navigation, it left the subspace and arrived in the orbit of Saturn.

New trials are ahead!
