Villain: Without Morality, You Will Not Be Kidnapped!

198: Mrs. Wang Said You Were The Only One Present

Through interrogation and further investigation of those involved, Qi Lin successfully dismantled the entire network of the Shadow Hand. They arrested many core members and recovered smuggled valuables.

Detective Qi Lin put away a notebook and sat at the desk in his office, thinking. There are various clues and photos on the table, which are the love-murder cases he recently investigated. His brows were furrowed as relevant information and possible suspects kept flashing through his mind.

Suddenly, he heard someone knocking lightly on the door. Qi Lin raised his head and saw a young woman walking into his office. Her nervous and worried expression told Qi Lin that she needed help.

"Hello, I am Qi Lin. Are you here to seek investigation services from 123?" Qi Lin said with a smile.

"Yes, sir. My name is Wang Fang, and my husband was recently found murdered in the garden of our home." Wang Fang said with a trembling voice.

"I'm very sorry to hear this, Mrs. Wang. Please sit down and tell me all the details about this case.

Wang Fang sat down and began to describe to Qi Lin what happened that night. She described the last time her husband was seen and her whereabouts at that time. Qi Lin listened and picked up a pen to record it.

"Have you ever suspected anyone? (cjcf)" Qi Lin asked.

"I'm not sure, but our nanny was the only other person present. She claimed throughout that she had no grave.

"Okay, I will investigate this matter as soon as possible. In the meantime, please don't tell anyone that I am investigating this case."

Wang Fang nodded and left Qi Lin's office. Qi Lin sat there alone, thinking about his next move. He knows that this is a difficult case and that key clues are likely to be hidden in many conversations and details.

Qi Lin spent several days visiting Wang Fang's friends and neighbors. Each of them provides some important information, but does not directly point to who the real murderer is. This made Qi Lin even more confused, but he did not give up.

One night, Qi Lin decided to go to the nanny to have a face-to-face conversation. He felt that only by communicating directly with her could he better understand the truth.

"Good evening, I'm Qi Lin. I want to talk to you about Mr. Wang's case." Qi Lin said with a smile.

The nanny looked at Qi Lin nervously, but still nodded.

"Mrs. Wang said you were the only one at the scene. Can you tell me what happened?

The nanny winced, then began to tell her version of events. She claimed that she was in the kitchen preparing dinner that night and never left. Qi Lin carefully observed her expression and language, trying to find any flaws.

"Miss Nanny, I must tell you that we have found some evidence that you may be involved in this case. Do you have any explanation?"

When the nanny heard Qi Lin's words, her face instantly turned pale. She bit her lip tightly, obviously thinking about how to respond.

Finally, she said with a trembling voice: "I...I can explain it! I admit that I lied at the time, but...but I did not kill Mr. Wang."

Qi Lin looked at her and motioned for her to continue.

"That night, I was actually in the kitchen preparing dinner, but then I got an urgent call from my sister. She told me she was in trouble and needed my help right away. I was worried about her, so I hurried Left home. But I swear I didn’t kill anyone!”.
